Terms and Conditions (SMS Messaging)

By opting in to receive SMS text messages from Kathalynas Spine, Sport & Rehab (“we,” “us,” “our”), you agree to the following terms and conditions regarding our text messaging services:
- SMS Messaging Service: By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS text messages from Kathalynas Spine, Sport & Rehab for appointment reminders, appointment confirmations, marketing messages, and general two-way communication related to our services. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier’s plan. For help or support, you can reply HELP to any of our messages. To opt out of future messages, reply STOP at any time.
- Message Frequency: You will receive text messages pertinent to your care and engagement with our practice (e.g. appointment reminders or occasional wellness updates). The frequency of messages may vary, but we will not send an excessive number of texts. (For example, you might expect up to 4 messages per month, though actual frequency will depend on your interactions and appointments.)
- Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply to any SMS communications we send, as determined by your mobile service provider. Kathalynas Spine, Sport & Rehab is not responsible for any charges from your carrier related to text messages you receive from us.
- Privacy and Data Use: We respect your privacy. Any personal information (including phone numbers) collected for the SMS service will be used solely for delivering the services you’ve requested (such as reminders or updates). Your information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy (see Privacy Policy page for more details). We will not share your mobile number or opt-in data with unauthorized third parties.
- Opt-Out Instructions: Participation in our text messaging program is voluntary. You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any text we send. After you send “STOP,” you will receive one final confirmation message and then no further SMS messages from us, unless you initiate a new opt-in. For assistance or more information, reply “HELP” or contact us directly (see Contact Us information below).
- Liability and Age Confirmation: By opting in, you confirm that you are the owner or authorized user of the mobile phone number provided and that you are at least 18 years old (or have a parent/guardian’s consent if under 18). We are not liable for any delays or failures in SMS delivery (such as messages that are not delivered promptly) as these may be affected by your cell service provider or other factors beyond our control. Kathalynas Spine, Sport & Rehab and your mobile carriers are not responsible for messages that are lost or otherwise not received due to technical issues. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving services – you can always opt out and still receive care from us.
